Clovis is a city in and the county seat of Curry County, New Mexico, United States, and its population was 32,213 as of the 2007 census.
Clovis is located in the Llano Estacado and eastern New Mexico regions. The largely agricultural town is also noted for its role in early rock music history (i.e., Buddy Holly!).
Nearby Cannon Air Force Base has a significant impact on the community, and recently became home to the 27th Special Operations Wing.
